October Homework Packet

Hey ya'll! My sweet friend, Katie, and I are at it again. We just finished our October Homework Pack and it's filled with great fall stuff. Do you have parents asking what they can work on at home? Not sure what to have your kinders do? Well, we've got your answer! This is the second pack in a series of monthly homework packs that will reinforce your students' skills while outside the classroom.
This pack includes:
-Weekly calendars (5 different options to choose from) that lay out which activities are to be completed each night
-An October monthly project
-Response sheets for your students to complete with each activity

This pack is filled with 61 pages of goodies created by 2 Kindergarten teachers with 2 different curriculums. All of this correlates with the Common Core standards and can be yours for $6.00! Hop on over to Katie's store and grab your pack today!

September Homework Pack, a funny, and some suggestions...

Hey friends....I've been in bed, sick with a cold. What a great way to spend my 3 day weekend. Blah! On a much happier note...it's a great day to be a Tennessee Vol! :) Go Big Orange! Did anyone catch the game last night?

Anyways, since football season is in full swing and fall is in the air (HOORAY!) I figured now was as good a time as any to begin work on next month's homework packet. Not to mention, I'm cooped up inside and have had to completely change my plans. Are you sympathizing with me? With today being September 1st, I wanted to remind you about the great homework packet Katie Mense and I put together! Today is the perfect day to buy it and get your copies together so you can begin the weekly assignments when your kinders return from their long weekend. It's packed with GREAT activities from 2 kindergarten teachers with 2 different curriculum...all adapted to meet Common Core! You can check it out {here}. I know I've shared this with you once...but here is a sneak peek of what's inside.
Speaking of Common Core...I found this funny on pinterest and it made me laugh. I thought I'd share because I know so many of you can relate. Can I get an Amen? HAAAaaaaaa
Is anyone else feeling the stress? Ok back to business....and back to homework packs. Like I said, Katie and I are working on October's packet and would LOVE suggestions! Besides including a blank page for teachers to fill out, are there any standards or activities YOU would like to see addressed or included next month?
Please share, we value your opinion. We just love and appreciate our blog friends SO much. Hope everyone enjoys their long weekend. Back to tissues, meds, and vitamin C for me. <sniff sniff>
