Hey friends....I've been in bed, sick with a cold. What a great way to spend my 3 day weekend. Blah! On a much happier note...it's a great day to be a Tennessee Vol! :) Go Big Orange! Did anyone catch the game last night?
Anyways, since football season is in full swing and fall is in the air (HOORAY!) I figured now was as good a time as any to begin work on next month's homework packet. Not to mention, I'm cooped up inside and have had to completely change my plans. Are you sympathizing with me? With today being September 1st, I wanted to remind you about the great homework packet Katie Mense and I put together! Today is the perfect day to buy it and get your copies together so you can begin the weekly assignments when your kinders return from their long weekend. It's packed with GREAT activities from 2 kindergarten teachers with 2 different curriculum...all adapted to meet Common Core! You can check it out {here}. I know I've shared this with you once...but here is a sneak peek of what's inside.
Speaking of Common Core...I found this funny on pinterest and it made me laugh. I thought I'd share because I know so many of you can relate. Can I get an Amen? HAAAaaaaaa
Is anyone else feeling the stress? Ok back to business....and back to homework packs. Like I said, Katie and I are working on October's packet and would LOVE suggestions! Besides including a blank page for teachers to fill out, are there any standards or activities YOU would like to see addressed or included next month?
Please share, we value your opinion. We just love and appreciate our blog friends SO much. Hope everyone enjoys their long weekend. Back to tissues, meds, and vitamin C for me. <sniff sniff>
Love the pinterest pic! Too funny!

Hi Erin!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! Your homework packs looks awesome! I teach first grade so I'm wondering if you think this would work for first grade too. Thanks for making such great products!
